Vendor Frequently Asked Questions

  • When your application was approved, you were forwarded a copy of your application reflecting all the dates you applied for. Please reference that email titled “Form Submission - VENDOR APPLICATION” to see your market dates.

  • If you need to switch a market date before you have paid, please email us at vendors@daytonariverfrontmarket.com. If you have already paid, you must notify us BY EMAIL at least 14 days in advance from the market date you want to switch in order to be considered to move your date. Requests made with less than 14 days notice are not eligible for credit.

  • The market operates rain or shine. Vendors who choose not to attend due to weather will not receive a refund. In the event of expected inclement weather, vendors will be notified via email by noon on the day before the market and will receive a full credit toward a future date.

  • In the event that the market opens but must close early due to inclement weather, no refunds or credits will be issued.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to be "approved," though no refunds are issued. Cancellations made with less than 14 days' notice are not eligible for credit. Failure to appear without communication is considered a "no-show" and may result in removal from future markets. Note: Frequent cancellations may result in losing "Resident Vendor" status.

  • No. You do not need to submit a new application to participate in additional market dates; just send an email to vendors@daytonariverfrontmarket.com to coordinate.

  • You must submit a new application for any new product types, as all items are subject to approval to ensure market diversity. No additions may be made to your approved product list without prior written consent.

  • Vendor fees are due by the 15th of each month for the following month’s markets. Payment reserves your space; if payment is not received by the deadline, we will assume you no longer wish to participate.

  • Set-up begins at 3 PM at 179 S. Beach St. You must bring a cart or wagon, as booth locations require walking items in. Loading zones are for active unloading only (10–15 minutes), after which vehicles must be moved to designated vendor parking areas.

  • Because we are next to the river, winds can be strong. All vendors are required to bring proper canopy weights and secure their displays to keep their booths stable and safe.
